Where our questions come from.
Every one of our 128 USCIS Civics Test questions is built from the official U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services study materials. We check them against the source regularly. The last review was June 2026.
You do not need to wade through the official PDF to be ready. For most people, the fastest way to learn is active recall: quizzes, flash cards, and full mock tests that show you what you do not know yet and bring it back until it sticks. That is exactly how Citizen Pass works. Use the official sources below whenever you want to read the original wording or double-check a detail.

How we keep this current
We review all 128 USCIS Civics Test questions against the official U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services materials on a regular schedule. The most recent check was June 2026. When the authority updates the test, the wording, or an answer, we update it here and refresh this date so you always know how fresh the content is.
If you ever spot something that looks out of date, every question has a "report a problem" link, and we check those quickly.
USCIS study materials are works of the U.S. federal government and are in the public domain. Citizen Pass is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with USCIS.
