These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at citizen-pass.com (the "Site"), operated by Oddly Sunny LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, United States ("Citizen Pass", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who can use the Site

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Site, and you agree to use it in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. The Site is intended for adults preparing for a citizenship test.

What Citizen Pass is

Citizen Pass is an independent study and practice tool for citizenship tests in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Our practice questions are based on publicly available official study materials. We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with USCIS, the UK Home Office, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the Australian Department of Home Affairs, or any other government body.

The Site is provided for educational purposes only and is not legal or immigration advice. Our questions do not represent the actual exam questions, and we do not guarantee any particular result. Whether you pass an official test is decided solely by the relevant authority. Always rely on the official sources for current, authoritative information.

Accounts and sign-in

You can use most of the Site without an account. If you create one, we use passwordless sign-in by sending a one-time link to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

Memberships and payments

Some features may be offered as a paid membership. Where they are, the following applies:

• Prices and what is included are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms.
• A web membership unlocks paid features for a fixed period. It is a one-time purchase, not an automatically renewing subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.
• A web membership is separate from the Citizen Pass mobile apps and any in-app purchase made through Apple or Google.
• Refund requests are handled case by case. Contact [email protected].

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Site or its content.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract content or data beyond normal personal use.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems.
• Use the Site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, software, and the way questions and explanations are organised and presented, is owned by Oddly Sunny LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Underlying official study material remains the property of the respective authorities and is used under public domain, the Open Government Licence, Creative Commons, or for educational purposes, with attribution shown on each market's source page. "Citizen Pass" and "IQ Readiness Score" are marks of Oddly Sunny LLC. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Site for your own study.

Third-party links and services

The Site links to official government sources and uses third-party services such as Stripe, Google, Resend, and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party websites or services.

Disclaimers

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the content is complete, current, or correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oddly Sunny LLC and its officers, members, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or a test result, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oddly Sunny LLC from any claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

Changes and termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved, to the extent permitted by law.
